Companies in the state of Florida which have employees must carry workers compensation insurance. The state of florida considers pressure washing services and roof cleaning services as “construction trades” by the state of Florida. OCD Power Washing has a LEGAL exception to not have to carry workmans comp because they are set up as an LLC, and the owner has filed for a workmans comp exemption. The owner of OCD Power Washing, however, is insured with liability insurance. This is very common for Florida companies with few employees as the price for workmans compensation is insane in the state of Florida.
